Hi everyone, Jenny & Alex here and thanks for stopping by!

We’re a fun-loving couple with a passion for food & wine, travel, exploration, music and a whole lot more. Originally from California (Alex) and Hong Kong (Jenny), we met in 2002 and have been together since 2008.

Our relationship has spanned the globe and in 2013 we moved to Detroit Michigan after falling in love with the city and its amazing people, beautiful architecture and vibrant history. We live by the motto “work hard, play hard” and we’re currently renovating homes in one of Detroit’s best neighborhoods (Jefferson Chalmers).

This blog is here to help us document some of our experiences along the way. From restoration to exploration, we’re having a blast and we invite you to get in touch, share your thoughts, and move to Detroit already! There’s never been a better time 🙂 Cheers, to the next big adventure.
